Lets all quit using the companies like Fingerhut, that outsource their customer service to India.

With the unemployment rate and all the jobless people in America, these companies should use workers from the good old US. Does India care about our people losing their homes, or the number of unemployed Americans? I doubt it.

I got a call from a man & I couldn't understand what he was saying, I asked for an American to call me but never heard back.

We should buy American and take America back the way our forefathers meant it too be.God Bless The USA..............

They are outsourcing to the Philippians not India, but I agree, we need to stop doing business with companies who outsource jobs overseas.. Bring jobs back to America.

People from India are all inbred, cant speak English, and are best left to running 'quickie Marts/ 7-11's, or driving Taxi's. I hate them.

Make them all go back to India. Their hygiene is terrible too. In India, they *** in the same water that they bathe in, send dead bodies down that same river, and don't wipe their ***. They are just beyond gross!

The reason you're paying DOUBLE the retail price on most of the items is because you're making up for the deadbeats that file bankruptcy because they don't/can't pay. Which is unfair to US considering because they'll give credit to ANYONE (including the homeless). So, next time you're wondering why the salt and pepper shaker you're purchasing is $103 dollars, it's because little Johnny didn't pay his $15 payment.

I totally agree. I also had a "Guaranteed Christmas Delivery" order that I had placed with some foreign man named "Gracion" or something like that.

Come to find out this morning that he never even placed my order and in speaking to some other foreign lady named "Kim", she too was totally condesending with the situation.

Asked to speak to someone of authority and she said "Please Hold", then hung up on me. I'm done with Fingerhut!!!

The phone people at Fingerhut are ***, and so is the frigging company! DONT USE THEM!...My mother is terminally ill, in a hospital--dying.

I wanted to get her a personalized blanket for Christmas with the children's names on it which said "Every time you touch this heart know that we love you." It would have meant a lot to her. Then Fingerhut threw a monkey wrench in our plan to get it for her with their jerks who answer the phone and run the place (foreigners with accents so thick I couldn't even understand them--and with NO compassion in their hearts what soever!) I called in on December 10th to have it mailed out so she would get it for Christmas because she won't be here next Christmas. Although they advertise "GUARANTEED CHRISTMAS DELIVERY", they went back on their word and the *** who answered the phone--a SUPERVISOR--SAID IT WOULDN'T BE MAILED OUT til Jan 2nd--I told him she wouldn't live that long and they said "That's not our problem" and got really sarcastic. They couldn't get a blanket out to a dying woman?...at CHRISTMAS?

I talked to three jerks and they acted like psychopaths and had NO compassion. All of them had accents from India or Iraq or somewhere. Why is Fingernhut hiring *** sarcastic foreigners to answer the phone-- who we cant even understand? Where are the Americans?

And worse still, my mother didn't get her blanket. WHAT JERKS! Somebody should put a virus or worm in their sick computer system which is ripping off people (read the reviews) and mistreating and abusing us Americans!

When I complained about his attitude the phone *** said "you can't talk like that" so I said "This is America, Jack, and in America we have something called the First Amendment to the constitution, which guarantees our right to free speech" I also told him I was calling NBC to have them do an investigative piece on Fingerhut and the mistreatment of their AMERICAN customers. Want to join me folks?

I do not like to talk to the reps on the phone!!!You can't understand them and they don't understand us!!! I called to place an order tonight and ended up having to ask to speak to his supervisor ans when he got on- it was another Indian man. I still didn't get complete satisfaction and ended up just giving up!

Actually Fingerhut has a large call center in Saint Cloud, MN. The majority of their customer service/ collections reps are in MN.

They do have a few outsourced reps NOT in India, but Panama, Jamaica, and Panama. The Reps they have in their US offices far exceed those who are outsourced.

If you speak to someone you can not understand simply hang up, and call back chances are you will get someone American. Just thought I would clarify since I am an employee of the company.

I totally agree, The problem is that some very large companies do this like Comcast, Qwest, Microsoft etc. They are the ones who need to change thier business practices.
