I ask and they also told me why my bill never got lower than it did: I had an $11.99/mo charge on my Fingerhut account which only shows on the Account billing - it never shows on my checking account. They collect through Fingerhut & its bank.
I never knew this because I NEVER opened my billing statements since I knew I never bought anything or I always knew what my monthly check register would be.
I was informed by Fingerhut to find all my bills; request a refund back to the date of inception. I called GreatFun and found out that that had been collecting through Fingerhut since January 2008 - January 2009.
I got a refund for January 2009 but was told I had to send a request to Executive Support Greatfun, Fax #18009648115.
I found no one interested in my plight and the help I did get reminded me of someone on drugs. I felt then that they deliberately billed my account and were avoiding me - they told me I signed up for the service and got a $25 Wal-Mart Gift Card. I did not of course.

| 1. Written by James Jonte, on 07-05-2009 00:45 I received a call from a creditor saying I was delinquent on my Finger hut bill. I last ordered from them in 1994 and payed my bill in full. The creditor said that I ordered from Finger Hut in 2001 and the bill was from that purchase. I havent done any bussines with them sence 1994. They are now asking for a letter of dispute of charges. I dont think that im going to get far with this and it will be stuck on my credit! |
| 2. Written by Inez Suanzes, on 12-03-2009 10:12 I had the same problem. I just realized they've been charging me for 2 years. I´ll send that fax and see what happen. Contact the Better Business Bureau, they will help you. I´ll file a complain if I don´t get my money back. Good luck!! |
