Do not order from Fingerhut!

I placed an order to fingerhut for my daughters birthday and the rep could barely speak english. He not only put my order in wrong, he also promised me that it would arrive in 5 days. when i went to check the status of my order...it was wrong and it had delivery for 10 days! My daughter picked out the toy she wanted from fingerhut, but i was unable to give it to her because fingerhut put in the wrong item and lied about the delivery date to get my order. my daughters b-day was unfulfilled.This was her main toy she wanted and i was not able to provide it due to a company with no integrity. all they could say was "im sorry"...tell that to my daughter on her birthday, when she opens her gifts and the main toy she wanted, mommy was unable to get! thanks fingerhut!

Unauthorized insurance charges

Fingerhut is charging me unauthorized insurance to protect my bill in case of disability. I am already disabled. They said I called in and asked for this coverage. Not true. Look at the charges on your current bill. You probably have been charged safeline also. You have to call in and cancel it. You will only be reimbursed the last two charges, so any other months you just paid and can not do anything about it. This is trickery. Something should be done. If I had not seen this charge it could have gone on forever. A lot of their reps are foreign, so you can not understand what they are saying. I think tey take advantage of the customer and put whatever options they want on your account. Once I had to pay for anextended warranty and did not order it. I remember say that I did not want the warranty. There it was on my bill anyway, and I paid the warranty all in one payment. Read your bills carefully. Sometimes when you think you are ordering a new product, they nwill send you a refurbished one without permission. I noticed that my steam floor cleaner had previously had water in the container.

I for some reason am getting calls for no reason

i am not or will never be a customer of fingerhut. i am getting calls from 209-320-**** and no one is on other end of line. i use a cell phone and without an account # there is nobody to talk to at finferhut, do real people work there? I'm pissed!!!! how do i talk to real person??????isn't there a customer service line i can call people about ?????????i feel sorry for anyone who is doing business with this company seems to me they are trying to run some kind of scam !!!! anyone else having this problem?????

They are robbing me

On the bill due in April $391.76 was the ballance,$28.99 was due on 4-11-11 and $30.00 was sent on 4-2-11 on check 2015. Then they did send a bill due in May. The bill did say,I does say, I do owe $548.11 and I did not order anything in April and May. I did exchange an RC Skunk,so they are making me pay for the exchanged RC Skunk. I did talk to the ST. Cloud Police,since I do have the feeling, I am being robbed. I AM MAD!!!!!

FINGERHUT claiming I am responsible for account.

Recently pulled my credit to find I have a FINGERHUT account, knowing I never opened or at any time have an account with FINGERHUT I gave them a call, they went on to tell me the account was opened recently 10/10 and all the things that was purchased,I told the lady that I did not open an account, I removed from New York,ten years ago, they sent me an affidavit which I signed and returned to them stating unauthorized use of my name and information.I received a letter today stating that they did an investigation and I was still responsible for the account,the address the merchandise was sent to is three family residence, no one with my name or related to me lives there, I live there Ten years ago, even after fulling out a change of address mail will still arrive there with my name.In there money hungry state they issue out credit with no proof of name and residency and I must now go out of my way to try and clear my name, I will clear my name but I will drag theirs to the dirt.

Dont waste your time with them. 1.

Go to your local police department and make a report. Bring the credit report with you to the police dept. 2. Then dispute it with the three credit bureaus.

Write a letter explaining what happened and why you believe its not yours. Samething happened to me.

And i am waiting a response from the credit bur. Hope this helps.

:sigh i am warren's girlfriend he can not read or write so why and how did he order anything through you. I lived with him a long time and he has never recieved any issue of a fingerhut magazine and he wouldn't be able to fill the order out he has a son named warren i think this bill you sent to us *** and some error on your part. need to figure this out because we order though catalogs or on the net We buy everthing out of the store.

Birthday Gift

I order a Tablet for our daughter for her birthday. Received it with a week to go opened it and guess what the screen is cracked, called customer service they will send me a label to return it in 10 days, but not ship another one until this is returned. There goes my birthday planning. I spoke to two different people and the same thing. So if I get a replacement it will not be until June for a May 3rd birthday. This is crazy not like I could or would keep the cracked one. What happened to the customer is always right.

Fingerhut keeps calling my number for someone else's payments.

I keep getting telephone calls at my number for someone who doesn't live here, and who as never been at this telephone number. I have had the same telephone number for 30 years.

No matter how many times I tell Fingerhut, on the phone or by E-Mail, that the person they are looking for is not at this number, they keep harrassing me.

I don't know how to get them off my back. I do not know why I have to constantly pay the price for someone who doesn't seem to exist - or at least can not be found.

This people call me....EVERYDAY, ALL DAY. I have my phone on silent most of the time, so I wouldnt hear it.

Although it angers me just to see them call me at different parts of the day.

Hopefully, I can find a way to stop them. But for now, I will be hearing about Barnie Carter every time I answer my phone.

Fingerhut has a brand new credit program that you may have been approved for. You need to call them.

Especially if you think someone else might have opened credit in your name.

You have to be your own advocate. No one else is going to help you with this.

Cant get logged on website to make payment.

I can NEVER get logged on to make a payment to Fingerhut Corp.Always says email not in their computer...But they Fingerhut can send emails reminding me of when payments are DUE... ridiculous....Then they charge you this outstanding late charges....Not satisfied with them at All.....Need to do some work on their website in order to make it easier for people to make payments on time and in proper manner...too confusing for me...Just take a little time out and work on it....NOT doing business with them any longer...makes no sense...to confuse customers

Ineeded 50.00 to buy a microwave i have 98.00credit needed to increase only 50.00 the total purchase

Ineeded to buy a microwave the total was $144.98 I have a credit of 98.00 I asked for increase of $50.00 and the rep told me until they revised my account every few monts. I think for $50.00 increase was not that much to make up for the purchase. I will like for the credit deparment to revise my account, always I have make my payments on time all the time. I hope I get a answer back. It was the Magic Chef microwave in white. Really it pissed off. Do you see any logic in this?

This Company offered me a Pre-Approved Credit Line and when I placed an order they did not ship!

This has to be the sorriest Company out there in its dealings. I was sent a pre approved credit amount and placed an order by mail.

They have not sent my order that was a fourth of my credit approval amount.The website has to be the worst of all. I type in my account number given to me on there catalog and the catalog number . The website said they did not have a record of me. What a Crummy Company!

I do not know how they continue in business.

The order I placed was for NH 381 an Ab Glider. It was advertised at $16.99 per month with a rubber mat for an extra $3.00 per month.

Pre approved does not mean garrunteed it means the stage before approved its a advertising tactic people use to get you to sign up for their products

Fingerhut sucks anyways, they charge to much for products that are old or not even worth a quarter of what the sell for. Dont waste your money on Fingerhut go get a visa and shop at a store! You are guaranteed to receive your item that way to!

Received pre approved credit from this company. Catalog stated all I had to do was place the order online or by phone.

Tried online but asked for an account#, which was not given on the pre approval. Called the ordering line and talked to a person I could barely understand. Had to put in a credit app. I told the person I was already pre approved.

Didn't matter I had to put in another app.

with info that wasn't asked on the catalog. I thought it was approved that is what the catalog had all over it.

Yes Fingerhut is mote than you will pay for items in a retail store but with timely payment they increase tour limits regularlly and i"ve always got my shipments on time and have contacted cusomer service with ease

Account balance and increase

I called an order in and was told i was 3.00 over the limit Iwas told to call customer service to see if i was eligible for an increase I had paid the original balance off I think it was very unfair to not be able to get a product for such a small overlimit i amvery satisfied with fingerhut and the representative was very nice i was offered another product which i agreed to accept it has been delivered i can assume i will have to pay off this balance before i can get another item from you

Fingerhut Overcharge

1. Received a Fingerhut catalog in the mail. 2. At the time was interested in buying a television. 3. After looking at the tv that might be the one for me, and noticed there was no shipping charge for this item, I placed the order for the tv on the Fingerhut's Web Site. 4. My order was accepted by Fingerhut, being the catalog showed I could open an account for the purchase of the tv. 5. I received the tv, however was unsatisfied with it because the persons on the tv appeared FAT. So I returned it and later on I received a call and was told I owed Fingergut the a charge for the shipping.

have you read there return policy? They do not promise to refund shipping costs.

Read the fine print. Take responsibility for you actions instead of whining like a baby :cry

Have not posted payments and charged interest

I paid off my Fingerhut credit card at the beginning of the month through my bank's bill pay. I have the confirmation number and proof that it was debited from my account.

6 days later, Fingerhut still had not posted the payoff to my account and charged me interest on the unpaid balance.

When I provided the proof to Fingerhut, they stated a glitch in some system and would post correctly in 24-48 hours.

48 hours later, when it should have been fixed..surprise, it wasn't. The person I spoke with stated that I should wait 24-48 hours before following up.

I am trying to buy a house, that I am supposed to close on tomorrow, not happening because of their mistake. I need a letter stating it is paid off, but they will not provide it until the glitch is taken care of regardless that they have the proof it has been paid.

What's the big idea of asking me a security question that I never gave you? Now I can't get onto my account because OF COURSE it's after hours and no one is there to answer the phones. You want me to give my sacred ss# on line and send it in an email? I have everything written down and there NEVER was a security answer to the security question you asked me. Who's messing with the files? Of course SOMEONE is going to say that I FORGOT the security answer. Well, I know I didn't.
