Fingerhut - Locked out of account by out of country reps looking for social security card.

I went with this company due to being a victim of the 2017 Equifax Data Breech. In one year I went from $250 to $1000. I requested to change my email and after that request I can no longer order anything on line. I call and get out of the country reps who refuse to change my i formation and demand I send a copy of my social security card. They give fake email addresses and are the only ones who answer the calls. Up until the theft I never heard of Finger Hut. They have not helped with my credit enough to deal with this drama. Its so unethical and disgraceful. Hire Americans who need jobs not out of the country low wage bullies who are snakes and lie.

Yes, I am still having to call about the 2 tablets. The one that was is black and brought in 2018, will not turn on. The blue one brought August 2019. Has a crack screen and broken charging Port.

I would stay clear from this company. I was charged 2x my payment. Tried calling lady refused to let me speak to a manager. So I had my bank dispute 2nd charge from my checking account. Told them to close my account. Then today I see they hit my account for another 139.98. This is poor business. I think monday i'll call my bank again to dispute it again.Plus I made a 100.00 payment trying to hurry up pay them off.But I noticed theyre not deducting what I've been paying off..Beware before you do business its been a nightmare.

Fingerhut - Frustrated!

Ordered 3 backpacks and received 2, they cancelled the third without notice. Called CS, stated out of stock. Ordered cancelled backpack a few days later using website and received entirely different bag. Called CS again, stated bag still out of stock, then requested return label. Refused to compensate for any inconvenience, so returned all 3 bags in SAME box. Now am only receiving credit for return of 2 bags, CS states only 2 were returned!! Issue now in dispute. Very upset over CS' treatment of a customer in good standing.

Fingerhut - Ignored my complaint

Fingerhut wants me to pay my account but the AVGO Television I purchased went out and they are ignoring my attempts to get a replacement TV. I refuse to pay for something that doesn't work. I am very, very unhappy right now.

When I first met Shanna at the Kit Kat Ranch I asked her if I could put my finger in it. She smiled and replied "You can do ANYTHING you want to do." and I asked "ANYTHING?" and she replied "ANYTHING!" I went back to see her a whole bunch of times and she was my favorite.

My Money Wasn't For Nothing, And It Was Like I Was Getting My Chicks For Free Because I Didn't Work For Any Of It. It Was Retroactive Crazy Money Given To Me.

I wouldn't deal with a company named like that just out of general principle. You should have handled this in writing, served via Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested, as soon as a problem became evident.

You have lost precious time and therefore part of the validity of your claim.

Calls and e-mails are worthless. You need hard printed copies of all correspondence with proof of delivery.

All I wanted to do was change my address because I moved from one state to another before making an order and I was told I could not change the address until after I placed my first order which did not make sense. I went through the process of answering questions with multiple people including the fraud department and was told I needed to send in more proof of identity. I told them I'm not sending proof of identity after answering question that should have authorized the change but their system still would not allow for it. I then told them I would cancel my account and the customer service/fraud department was happy to assist with that. I then received a letter today in the mail 9/26/18 at the address I wanted my account be changed to telling me my account has been closed. Funny how I can receive mail to the address I wanted my account changed to but not shipments. Their customer service sucks and I would've kept the account if they tried to actually help with the situation but loosing a client did not matter. Customer service did not care about helping and would not even give me a supervisor I had to wait 24-48 hours for a call back that I never received.

Fingerhut - Where does my credit blance go

I can have a 300.00 dollar credit balance and spent 55.00 dollars and come back two or three days later and my balance is 00.00.Where does my balance go too that I didn't use.It is added to my bill like I use it.I have wrote them three too four times asking who is using my credit that is left after I make a purchase .I still have not got a answer.I have start taking picture of what my balance is.I want all the money that I had left on my balance too be return too me.I', not paying for someone too use my credit balance,this has been going on since 2017
