If you are interest in joining a ClassAction Lawsuit and your complaint is 1)Damage to your credit report or 2)Returning an item and having them deny receiving, still being billed for it, which goes back to 1)Because they ALWAYS report it to your credit agencies: check your credit report and contact me at sassnancy@***.com . I returned a Magnavox 32" flat screen with THEIR OWN address label and they told me they "can't find it, and can't get it off my credit report.

They reported it to my credit agencies BEFORE I RETURNED IT, BEFORE I EVEN GOT A BILL! They are a scamming, fraudulent sham of a company and they need to have their doors shut down!

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Monetary Loss: $666.

Preferred solution: I want them to take this off my credit report and stop billing me for something I returned.

This is happening to my husband he returned 2 items they received 1 but cant find the other they were packaged together

Being billed for item not received I contacted Fingerhut in 5/19 item not received and I didnโ€™t receive bill or reply now in 7/19 I finally received a bill contacted Fingerhut now itโ€™s been over 90 days and still stating Iโ€™m responsible for bill. Even UPS stated items were left by garage and not at my house

I look for this company to go out of business the same way that the company called "Sweepstakes Clearinghouse" has gone out of business leaving angry customers with junk merchandise and unfulfilled orders in it's wake. just go to the "Sweepstakes Clearinghouse Pissed Off Consumer Reviews" and read for yourself.

Fingerhut is a Scam! Best not to do any kind of business with them.

I would like to join this lawsuit I received a package after I had canceled it it never even left the post office my post office lady sent it right back the next day they are charging me for this item it's reporting on my credit I do not have the item and I even have a letter from the post office saying the item was returned

Did you ever get anything going here? I recently took out a Fingerhut Fresh Start account.

I got a promotional free shipping code, however, when I tried paying the $30.00 down payment it wouldn't process, although there were more than enough available funds. By Monday the code had expired, I then proceeded to spend hours, literally, 15 to 16 hours, being passed from customer service who said that they would honor the code but it had to be applied by sales, to sales, who said that they would definitely like to help, definitely, but this was definitely not thier control and I would definitely have to talk to customer service or to the sales supervisor and I could definitely speak to them as they were definitely concerned and if they didn't answer definitely leave a message and they would definitely get back to me...messages to which I would receive a courtesy message or e mail to 24 to 48 hours later, during work hours and at a time I told them that I would not be available stating that they hoped that I had somehow miraculously cleared up the issue. I did finally get the free shipping, however first I had to pay for it and then they had to remove it. The supervisor who promised this said she would handle the refund immediately upon disconnecting the call.

I spent another week and a half and 5 more hours getting them to make well on that promise. Fast forward 3to payments due, I try paying double the actual payment several days before it's due, there is more than ample funds, in each of the 3 accounts my debit card is attached too, however, it won't go through. I finally call, on the due date, after working 16 hours, at 10:30 p.m Mountain Central time, and, wouldn't you know it was half past midnight Eastern Standard and they had already attached a $25.00 late fee. And still couldn't process my payment, they did waive the late fee, but said that they would definitely be reporting a late payment to the credit bureaus.

They told me to contact my financial institution, who doesn't even show that there was an attempt to process a payment made by Fingerhut. Fingerhut, however, showed half a dozen alleged attempts to process payment on thier end. It was, of course, the weekend, and I finally got the payment to process by using my routing and tracking number, the method of payment that they had denied the first time when they didn't want to honor the free shipping promotion. The only reason I signed up for this nightmare was because my teenage son was recently diagnosed with a rare birth defect, he is losing his vision and hearing.

I am trying to build my credit and buy a home, so that he will be in a familiar safe environment.

And I have to show six months of no delinquent payment to do so. So, I would dearly love to join the suit.

I will join your class action law suit. I returned an item and was told they received it by several agents and also sent me a email but continued to bill me, then later told me they did not receive it.

I have all my tracing information but they are still billing me and its affecting my credit. I need an attorney.

yes if you are still doing this then count me in. I truly beleive they can not charge the interest AND fees they do.

Pay your bills on time and you won't have all these problems. You don't have any lawsuit here.

If you ever want good credit start paying debts on time. Nothing in life is free.

Wow spoken like a true *** When the item was returned immediately, with return receipt confirmation! Then to receive bad marks on my credit report for failure to make a payment/ late payment reported.

Do to FINGERHUTโ€™s inabilities to track and input inventory correctly I am still receiving invoices for the product that has been returned. So BILL, since your so wise, what is the next step to resolve this issue? My thought is a call to the attorney generals office. Email them a copy of the receipt confirmation from the US MAIL.

THEN HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT ME AGAINST FINGERHUT AND THEM POSTING NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON MY CREDIT REPORT.

I agree, in order to have good credit you need to pay your debt on time. However, when Iโ€™m still being charged for something that I returned and receiving negative hits on my credit report, then the company who is claiming this is liable for the negative outcome.

Dude the way its setup is like a scam. The merchandise isnt very good and over priced.

Im not saying you dont have a point but they prey on impulsive people and pad the accounts for too much money owed. God bless

Hi Bill, I have excellent credit. I pay all my bills ahead of time leaving no balances and fingerhut is ripping me off as well.

I returned some pants back to them because they didnโ€™t fit they credited the amount of my return to my credit account with them so I had a credit of $60.65 over my actual credit balance with them. Fast forward 5 months and I ordered from them again on 12/03/19 the total ordered was $216.95 I put $100.00 of this on my discover card the remaining balance was $116.95 now remember I had a $60.65 credit with them that should also be applied to the order which should have left $31.95 plus a safeline fee of $.38 so total should be $32.24 and when I received my December statement all was well and the same was reflected on my account page with fingerhut, so everything was great. Today 12/16/19 I went to check my tracking status for the order and lo and behold my account now states I owe them $97.33 a discrepancy of $65.09 so I call them and requested to speak to a supervisor I got one โ€”> (Jasper ext 044, oh and he cannot tell me his last name) but he states they have already sent me a refund check in the mail (Oh really? When did this occur?

Never got this phantom refund check) he then states he will reissue this phantom check and I should watch for it in the mail and in the meantime I owe them this $97.33 which I immediately paid and now we wait for the outcome on all of this and I bet you I donโ€™t ever get that refund check in the mail but Iโ€™ll wait and when it never comes to fruition then I will seek an attorney and take them to court for that money as well as all the fees incurred due to their negligence and theft and make no mistake this is stealing. Not everyone is a deadbeat that doesnโ€™t pay their bills and attempts to take what isnโ€™t rightfully theirs and you should not assume and comment on things such as this without the proof and the knowledge of each individual you feel is making a bogus claim but then again who knows maybe your an involved party with the fingerhut entity that is ripping ppl off.

Oh and I also paid a $20.00 payment on 12/11/19 (forgot to add that in there) which is why it would have been $32.24. I should have paid this completely off at the time I made the purchase 12/03/19 then maybe this wouldnโ€™t have occurred but was hoping to use the credit amount from my past refund and it should have been so easy and instead look where hoping to use my refund money got me.

I will gladly join. There's not enough room on this page to mention all of the ways Fingerhut has screwed me over and harassed me. Now they giving me trouble over my trying to close my account because of their stupid mistakes!

I will jjoin for almost 2 yrs o have been paying paying of at first glance was T zero then credit raised very little and then when It raided they lowered actual credit to below 2w6. Credit and I pay 90-200 a mo nth and first was qt00 and it is up to 1745.. and only people who speak to me is call centers out of country.
